    Ashwagandha-Mandel-Tonic mit Rosenwasser & Safran

Ashwagandha-Almond Tonic with Rose Water & Saffron

A nourishing evening tonic with calming effects: creamy almond milk meets adaptogenic Ashwagandha, noble rose water and warming saffron. This beverage strengthens nerves, regulates the hormone system and supports deep sleep – a true Rasayana for Vata times.

    Ingredients (for 2 servings)

    Base:

400 ml unsweetened almond milk (preferably fresh or organic quality)
    1 tsp Ashwagandha powder (organic)
1 tsp rose water (food grade)
1 tbsp date syrup or 1 Medjool date (pitted)
    4–5 saffron threads
    1 pinch cinnamon (optional)

    Preparation (approx. 10 minutes)

Soak saffron: Soak the saffron threads in 2 tbsp warm water or almond milk, let steep for at least 5 minutes.
Heat almond milk: Slowly warm the almond milk in a small pot – do not boil! Stir in Ashwagandha powder and whisk well.
Refine: Add the saffron liquid, rose water and date sweetness or date. Froth until creamy with an immersion blender or milk frother.
Serve: Pour into cups, dust with cinnamon if desired and enjoy warm – best in the evening before bedtime.

    Ayurveda Tips:

Best time of day: Ideal in the evening to calm body and mind.

Constitution: Particularly beneficial for Vata – nourishing, strengthening and relaxing; Pitta-friendly through rose water and saffron; for Kapha only in small amounts.

Tip: For inner restlessness or sleep disorders, drink daily for 3–4 weeks.
