Musta, the nutty flatsedge also known as Indian nutgrass, has the botanical name Cyperus rotundus and is easily confused with Egyptian papyrus by the layperson. It is a perennial lasting 30-40 cm tall sedge grass with a three-angled stem, 4-7 mm wide pointed leaves and a tuberous root, which is used in Ayurvedic nutrition. It is part of the Ayus Rasayana herbal blend, which is also available as a capsule.

The finely and gently ground powder (below 40°C) of the dried root comes from Indian and Sri Lankan fair trade and organic projects.

Recommended Intake

Take three capsules three times daily, each 0.38 g (0.28 g net herbal powder content). The daily intake amount corresponds to 2.52 g herbal powder. The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.
