COSMOVEDA Ghee is an important component of Ayurvedic cooking. It ignites the digestive fire (Agni) and, according to Ayurveda, builds Ojas (life energy). In Europe and German cuisine, this pure butter fat is also known as clarified butter and is used for searing.
Usage
Dishes prepared with Ghee are absorbed very easily by the body. Due to its special preparation method, Ghee keeps well without refrigeration. Ideal for cooking, frying, baking, braising, and steaming. Traditionally, spices in Indian Ayurvedic cuisine are briefly toasted in Ghee before use. This allows their full aroma to develop.
Since Ghee is pure, clarified butter fat, it is also well tolerated by people with lactose intolerance.
Pure Ayurvedic butter fat made from milk from grazing cattle in the Alpine region. The milk comes from horned cows.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Ghee is a natural product. At room temperature, it can be partly solid and partly liquid. During the transition from liquid to solid state, granular structures may form due to fat crystallization processes, which are characteristic of the product and do not indicate any quality impairment.
