Cosmoveda - BIO Guduchi Churna, Tinospora Cordifolia

Guduchi, with the botanical name Tinospora Cordifolia, is a perennial climbing plant with heart-shaped leaves and small yellow flowers, whose stem develops many aerial roots that hang down like tentacles. In Ayurvedic nutrition, the stem, root, juice, and leaves are used. Churna simply means "powder" in Sanskrit and is either a mixture of ground herbs and/or minerals, or—as in this case—a ground single herb. You can also obtain Guduchi as herbal capsules from Cosmoveda or as a sweetened instant tea with Guduchi.

According to Ayurveda, this product correlates at the level of harmonious balance of the Doshas through the balance of the six taste profiles. It provides the taste profiles of astringent and bitter.

Usage Recommendation

Take one level dosing spoon daily (divided into 2 servings) between meals: pour boiling water over it, let it steep briefly, and drink warm. The daily consumption of 2.10g herbal powder contains 15.65mg polyphenols².
