Haritaki, botanically known as Terminalia Chebula, is also known as chebulic myrobalan and is an important ingredient in the Ayurvedic blend Triphala, for example. Haritaki is an evergreen tree growing up to 20 meters high with oval-shaped leaves and white flowers that develop into small five-winged yellow to orange-brown stone fruits after pollination. These fruits are what are used in Ayurvedic nutrition. The finely and gently milled powder (below 40°C) of the dried fruits comes from fair trade and organic projects in India and Sri Lanka.

Usage Recommendation
3 times daily 1/3 teaspoon with hot water between meals. The daily intake contains approximately 2.5 - 3g herbal powder. The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Store out of the reach of small children.
