This special type of corn is used to make popcorn. The heat bursts the shell of the grains and the volume increases.
Preparation of homemade organic popcorn
Put the oil in a heavy saucepan and let it get hot. Add the popcorn corn to cover the base, close the lid. After about 3 minutes the corn will burst. Caution: Do not remove the lid until all the grains have burst (otherwise popcorn everywhere in the kitchen). Season to taste with sea salt or raw cane sugar!
