Ravintsara of the highest quality comes from the island of Madagascar. The essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora ct. cineole) and, after gentle distillation, unfolds its fresh, clear, eucalyptus-like aroma. It is valued for its air-purifying and invigorating properties—ideal when it gets cooler outside.
