Water-soluble vitamin C, also called ascorbic acid, is probably the most well-known of all vitamins. It is found especially in fresh fruits and vegetables, is involved in many metabolic processes, and protects cells from aggressive oxygen compounds (free radicals). Unlike plants and most animals, the human body cannot produce or store vitamin C on its own.

Vitamin C plays an important role in the formation of collagen, the most common protein in the human body and the most important component of our connective tissue.

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal function of blood vessels, gums and teeth, bones and cartilage, and skin.

Recommended Dosage

Take 1 tablet of 500 mg twice daily with plenty of liquid
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of small children.
