GSE - Vitamin D3 (Organic)

Vitamin D holds a special position among vitamins, as it can be obtained both through diet and produced by the human body itself through sun exposure. However, vitamin D is found only in limited amounts in food. The highest concentrations are found in fatty fish varieties, such as salmon or herring. Dietary intake alone is therefore often insufficient, especially for those following a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. Additionally, the skin's ability to produce vitamin D decreases significantly with age.
When less time is spent outdoors and sun exposure to the skin is limited, the body's own vitamin D production decreases further. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and normal blood calcium levels, which in turn supports the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.

Vitamin D3 Compact contains 25 μg vitamin D3 from organic lichen extract in one tablet. This corresponds to 500% of the reference amount according to Regulation (EC) 1169/2011 for an adult. Only organic lichens of the genus Cladonia rangiferina are used in production. Gentle drying preserves the valuable nutrients.

Usage Recommendation

Take 1 tablet of 500 mg twice daily with plenty of liquid
