Application

Wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo such as khadi Nussgras Shampoo. Shampoos containing silicone leave a silicone film around each individual hair, which prevents coloring with natural hair colors. Tip: Apply a very rich cream to the skin around the hairline and ears to prevent the color from staining your skin.

Mix the powder with 80°-90°C warm water until a smooth cream forms. Allow the color cream to cool to a pleasant temperature. Distribute the warm paste evenly through your hair using a brush or gloved fingers: strand by strand – down to the tips. If you only want to color the roots, skip the lengths and tips - of course.
Allow the plant-based hair color to work for 30 to 120 minutes. The longer it works, the darker the color result will be. If you have already colored your hair with this shade and only want to refresh the color, leave the color in for 15 to 30 minutes.
Rinse out the plant-based hair color with clear water after the processing time. Now avoid shampooing for 24 to 48 hours, as this is when the color depth of your khadi shade fully develops.
To fix the new color pigments in your hair, you can use khadi hair oil before the first wash after coloring. Let the oil work for at least 20 minutes and then wash it out with a natural shampoo. This way your khadi plant-based hair color lasts longer.
