Application

Wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo such as khadi Amla, Shining Shikakai, or Neem Balance Shampoo. For severely stressed hair, we recommend pre-treating with khadi Senna Cassia.

How to optimally prepare your hair for khadi Plant-Based Hair Color Mahogany:

Mix the powder of khadi plant-based hair color with 80-degree warm water until you get a smooth cream. Distribute this evenly in your hair with a brush: strand by strand – down to the tips. If you only want to color your roots, skip the lengths and tips.
Let the plant-based hair color Mahogany work for 60 to 120 minutes. The longer it works, the darker the color result will be. If you have already colored with this shade and just want to refresh your color tone, leave the color in your hair for only 15 to 30 minutes.
Rinse the plant-based hair color after the processing time with clear water. Now avoid shampooing for 24 to 48 hours, as during this time the color depth of your khadi shade will fully develop.
To fix the new color pigments in your hair, you can use a khadi hair oil before the first hair wash after coloring (for example the Strong amla Hair Oil). Let the oil work for at least 20 minutes and then wash it out with a natural shampoo. This way your khadi plant-based hair color lasts longer.
