Shatavari, the Indian asparagus Asparagus racemosus, is probably one of the best-known Ayurvedic plants in Europe. In ancient Ayurvedic texts, Shatavari is praised when it comes to women and their femininity. The name "Shatavari" also alludes to this, which translates roughly as "she who possesses 100 husbands". From an Ayurvedic perspective, Indian asparagus is said to promote the spiritual power of love – something that is appreciated not only by women, but also by men.

This versatile root with its sweet and bitter taste is also considered a Pitta-Rasayana in Ayurveda. Accordingly, it is also a component of various Rasayanas from Maharishi Ayurveda®.
Application and Details
Recommended dosage for adults: 1 tablet 2 x daily with water after meals.
