Anise is known for its sweet-spicy aroma and is traditionally used for teas, baked goods, and as a spice in savory dishes.
Usage
Slightly crush 1 tsp of seeds in a mortar and pour 1/2 l of boiling water over them. Let steep covered for 5 minutes.
As an ingredient for homemade Mukhwas - chewing spice - in bread or Indian dishes such as Biryani.
