Our Bio Kitchari Energy brings vitality to your day! The combination of fine basmati rice, nutrient-rich mung dal, and aromatic spices like ginger, galangal, chili, and Pippali provides an invigorating warmth. Carrot and tomato lend the dish a natural sweetness and freshness. Perfect for active days when you want to give your body an easily digestible yet powerful meal!
Preparation
Per serving, bring 1/2 cup (60g) Kitchari to a boil with 1 cup (120ml) water. Simmer covered over low heat for approximately 15 minutes. Stir regularly. If desired, stir in asafoetida and ghee towards the end of cooking time and season with salt.
Tip: For a delicious dal, simply add finely chopped vegetables of your choice and simmer together for approximately 10 minutes.
