Bright, clear, citrusy: Our finely ground organic lemon peel brings fresh lightness to sweet and savory recipes – ideal for baking, spice blends, drinks, and your Ayurvedic kitchen.
Usage
Baking & Desserts: Per 250 g flour: ½–1 tsp in cakes, muffins, sponge cake, sweet bread.
Breakfast: Add ½ tsp to porridge, overnight oats, yogurt or quark. Finish with date or maple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon.
Savory Cooking: ¼–½ tsp in risotto, lentil stew, roasted vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, carrot), hummus or yogurt dips.
Marinades & Dressings: ½ tsp with olive oil, mustard, honey/agave, salt & pepper – ideal for salads, tofu, tempeh.
Drinks & Tea: ¼ tsp per cup of hot water as a soothing citrus tea; in chai, golden milk or infused water with ginger and mint.
Spice Blends: Harmonizes beautifully with thyme, rosemary, pepper, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cardamom, vanilla.
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Vegan. No additives.
