Tamanu is a plant revered as a sacred tree by Polynesian cultures, credited with numerous positive effects for the skin.
The Tamanu body oil from Monoi Tiki Tahiti contains 90% Monoi oil, produced through maceration of Tiaré buds. The fresh flowers impart their benefits to cold-pressed coconut oil. This combines the soothing properties of the blossoms with the moisturizing effects of the oil. The oil has a strong scent, reminiscent of a blend of bay leaf and walnut.
