Due to the special manufacturing process, the instant coffee is gluten-free. First, the individual ingredients are partially malted, roasted, coarsely ground and mixed. Subsequently, the roasted and crushed ingredients are brewed, creating a strong coffee extract.
The powder including the gluten proteins responsible for intolerance, prolamines and glutelines (which together form gluten), are not water-soluble and remain in the filter. The lupine coffee is already gluten-free at this point. In the next processing step, the still liquid extract is instantized, meaning it is converted into a fine powder form through spray drying, which is then filled into containers.
To ensure that no gluten and no gluten residues are contained in the instant products, Naturata conducts regular analyses. The gluten content is always below the detection limit.
Preparation Tips
Pour 2-3 teaspoons (approx. 8 g) per cup with 200 ml hot water. Stir briefly and ready! For a special treat, use hot milk instead of water or refine your coffee with cream.
