Primavera - Organic Peppermint Essential Oil

Inhaling the refreshing mint oil can provide relief from jet lag and fatigue, as well as from (travel) nausea. For stomach pressure and digestive issues, compresses or massage with peppermint oil are also beneficial. Peppermint oil has also proven effective for colds, as it supports easy breathing. Applied directly, the cooling effect helps with itching, such as from insect bites. Cooling peppermint oil is popular in refreshing, invigorating body oils and adds a tingling effect to summer foot baths and body scrubs. As a bath additive for full-body baths, peppermint is only suitable in limited amounts, as it can create a cooling sensation even in minimal doses.

Application

Apply 1 drop directly to the skin or mix max. 5 drops in 50 ml almond oil. Also suitable as an ingredient for homemade natural cosmetics.

Recipe Tip: "Minty Fresh" Body Scrub for DIY

5 drops organic peppermint
8 drops organic lemon
30 ml organic almond oil
300 g sea salt

Place the sea salt in a glass jar. Mix the essential oils with the almond oil and add to the sea salt. Shake and swirl well so the oils blend thoroughly with the sea salt. Apply the minty fresh scrub best in the shower to damp skin. Massage in circular motions and rinse thoroughly. Pat skin dry after showering. This way the almond oil remains on the skin and nourishes it.

Filled in a brown glass bottle that provides 100% UV protection and protects the valuable essential oil. With dropper aid and child-resistant plastic cap, therefore not 100% plastic-free.
