Primavera - Peppermint Organic Oil

When dealing with jet lag and fatigue, as well as (travel) nausea, inhaling peppermint can provide relief. For stomach pressure and digestive issues, compresses or rubs with peppermint oil are also beneficial. Peppermint oil has also proven useful for colds, as it supports easy breathing. When applied directly, the cooling effect helps with itching caused by insect bites, for example.

Cooling peppermint oil is popular in refreshing, invigorating body oils and gives summer foot baths and body scrubs a certain tingle effect. As an additive for full-body baths, peppermint is only conditionally suitable, as it can create a cold sensation even in the lowest dosages.

Application

For room fragrance, mixed and diluted for cosmetic and therapeutic use on the skin, e.g. in facial and body oils, for massage oils, for therapeutic rubbing and compresses, as a bath additive, for masks, for self-made cosmetic products

Spot application: 1 drop pure on the skin or max. 5 drops mixed in 50 ml organic almond oil.

Store in a cool, dry and dark place

Recipe Tip Body Scrub "Minty Fresh":

5 drops organic peppermint
8 drops organic lemon
30 ml organic almond oil
300 g sea salt

Place the sea salt in a glass jar. Mix the essential oils in the almond oil and add to the sea salt. Shake and swirl well to mix the oils thoroughly with the sea salt.

Apply the minty fresh scrub to damp skin, preferably in the shower. Massage in circular motions and rinse thoroughly. After showering, only pat the skin dry. This way the almond oil remains on the skin and nourishes it.
