Sniffing peppermint can provide relief for jet lag and fatigue, as well as (travel) sickness. Pads or rubs with peppermint oil are also useful for stomach pressure and digestive problems. Peppermint oil has also proven itself for colds, as it supports breathing. Applied selectively, the cooling effect helps with itching caused by insect bites, for example.

Cooling peppermint oil is often used in refreshing, invigorating body oils and gives a certain tingling effect to summery foot baths and body scrubs. Peppermint is only suitable to a limited extent as a bath additive for full-body baths, as even the smallest dose can cause a feeling of cold.

Selectively mix 1 drop pure on the skin or max. 5 drops in 50 ml organic almond oil.

Store cool, dry and dark

Recipe tip body peeling "mint fresh" :

5 drops of organic peppermint
8 drops of organic lemon
30 ml organic almond oil
300 grams of sea salt

Put the sea salt in a glass jar. Mix the essential oils in the almond oil and add to the sea salt. Shake well and toss to mix the oils well with the sea salt.

The best way to apply the fresh mint peeling to damp skin is in the shower. Massage in in circular motions and rinse well. Just pat your skin dry after showering. The almond oil stays on the skin and cares for it.
