Cassia obovata or colorless henna is used to add softness and shine to the hair. It does not affect the natural color of darker hair. However, it is good for enlivening blonde tones and conjuring up golden nuances on white hair . However, Cassia should not be used on light naturally blonde or bleached hair!

The plant powder helps strengthen the hair by wrapping itself around the shaft, increasing its diameter. At the same time, it minimizes damage caused by chemical treatment. A possible dryness of the hair after treatment with cassia can be counteracted by adding some oil after oxidation. In any case - even without oil - this feeling of dryness will disappear after about 1 day.

Cassia can also be mixed with henna to tone down red tones and create lighter copper nuances. Helps restore balance to greasy hair.

Application

The powder is mixed with a sufficient amount of hot water to form a smooth paste and then spread through damp hair. Exposure time 10-20 minutes - then rinse with warm water. Washing with a shampoo is usually not necessary. Depending on the hair structure and stresses in the hair, increase the exposure time to up to 60 minutes as preparation for coloring. If coloring with herbal hair color is carried out afterwards, the hair should be washed again with a shampoo.
