A particularly increased need for iron arises e.g. B. through increased menstruation or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In older people, iron absorption through the intestines may be reduced.

Folic acid is particularly important if you want to have children and during pregnancy, since folic acid (folate) contributes to the growth of maternal tissue.

Floradix® Iron Folic Acid Tablets are used to supply readily available iron(II) even with normal needs, cover the daily need for folic acid and contain other B vitamins and vitamin C for better iron absorption.

Application

Consumption recommendation:
2 tablets daily with sufficient liquid.

Additional consumption recommendation:
Girls 10-15 years: 1 tablet daily.
Breastfeeding: 3 tablets daily.
Pregnant women: 4 tablets daily.

It is recommended to swallow the tablets whole half an hour before a meal.
It should be taken over a period of 4-8 weeks. If possible, it should not be consumed with coffee or black or green tea, as the tannins they contain can impair the absorption of iron.
