OPC is the abbreviation for Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins. The name refers to a group of secondary plant compounds with a slightly bitter taste. They are found in the outer layers or seeds of fruits and vegetables. Like Vitamin C, OPC is classified as an antioxidant. Both substances are natural components of a balanced diet.
