Application

Method and duration of use:
For mild gastrointestinal complaints, the medicinal product should not be used for longer than 2 weeks. For flushing treatment, the medicinal product is used over a period of 2 to 4 weeks. If your symptoms do not improve after 1 week, please consult your doctor. Please also note the information under "Precautions for use and warnings".
Contraindications:
You must not take Naturreiner Heilpflanzensaft Löwenzahn:
• if you have a known allergy (hypersensitivity) to dandelion or other plants in the daisy family,
• if you have ulcers of the stomach or duodenum,
• if you have obstruction of the bile ducts or intestinal obstruction (ileus),
• if you have inflammation of the gallbladder,
• if you have conditions in which reduced fluid intake is recommended,
• if you have accumulation of water (edema) as a result of reduced heart and kidney function.
For gallstone disease, only use after consultation with your doctor.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions (hypersensitivity reactions) and complaints due to over-acidity of the stomach (superacid stomach complaints) can occur, as with all herbal preparations containing bitter substances. The frequency of these side effects is not known. In these cases, discontinue the medicinal product and inform a doctor so that he can decide on the severity and any necessary measures.

Precautions:
Mild gastrointestinal complaints: For complaints that last longer than 1 week or recur regularly, a doctor or other qualified person working in a healing profession should be consulted, as with all unclear complaints.
Flushing of the urinary tract in inflammatory diseases: If the following disease symptoms occur, please consult a doctor immediately:
• fever,
• pain on urination,
• cramping pain or pain in the kidney area,
• blood in the urine,
• acute urinary retention.
Patients with kidney or heart failure and/or diabetes should avoid taking Naturreiner Heilpflanzensaft Löwenzahn due to possible complications caused by elevated potassium levels in the blood.
Interactions with other medicines:
No interactions with other medicinal products have been reported so far. There are no studies with Naturreiner Heilpflanzensaft Löwenzahn on the possible influence on other medicinal products administered at the same time.
Overdose and misuse:
If you have taken more than you should: If you have accidentally taken 1 or 2 individual doses (corresponding to 15 ml or 30 ml of pressed juice) more than intended, this will generally have no adverse consequences. In this case, continue taking it as described in the dosage instructions or as prescribed by your doctor.
If you have significantly overdosed with this medicinal product, you should consult a doctor. If you have forgotten to take it: Do not take a double dose. In this case, continue taking it as stated in this package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor.
Dosage instructions:
Dosage and method of use: - Mild gastrointestinal complaints: Adults should take 15 ml of pressed juice undiluted or with a little liquid, preferably drinking water, 3 times daily before meals.
Use in children and adolescents up to 18 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.
- Flushing of the urinary tract in inflammatory diseases: Adults and adolescents over 12 years should take 15 ml of pressed juice undiluted or with a little liquid, preferably 1 glass of drinking water, 3 times daily before meals. For a flushing treatment, it is necessary that you ensure adequate and regular fluid intake; the daily fluid intake should be 1.5 - 2 liters.
Use in children up to 12 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.
