According to Ayurveda medicine descriptions, elevated Vata shows a susceptibility to inner restlessness, insomnia, tension, joint, muscle or headaches.

The oils develop a particularly intensive effect when you warm them to hand temperature in warm water before use. This can be done in a baby bottle warmer or in a water bath. To do this, place the bottle either directly in a pot of hot water or pour an appropriate amount of oil into a small glass bowl, which is then warmed in the hot water. All Vata-reducing oils are excellent for the daily morning routine and Ayurvedic self-massage (abhyanga).
