Our Pitta Tea is one of four very special tea varieties from our Ayurveda range. The herbs and spices needed for our Pitta Tea thrive in the wild nature of Nepal. They are collected by Ayurvedic masters in the low and high altitude regions, dried, and carefully blended. Our Pitta Tea can be enjoyed at any time of day. Our Ayurvedic teas are prepared according to traditional recipes. In Nepal, Ayurvedic principles are practiced today just as they have been for hundreds of years.
When we have a cup of our Pitta Tea in front of us, it appears slightly green to brownish. Its taste is difficult to define at first glance: it tastes exotic, simply different and above all spicy. Yet it is soothing and warm. Even cooled or cold Pitta Tea can be enjoyed with pleasure.
Preparation
The temperature of the water for brewing the Pitta Tea should be between 85 and 90 °C and the steeping time should be 5 to 10 minutes.
