Tea from Nepal - Vata Tea

Our Vata Tea is one of four very special tea varieties from our Ayurveda collection. The herbs and spices needed for our Vata Tea thrive in the wild nature of Nepal. They are gathered in the low and high altitude regions by Ayurveda masters, dried, and then carefully blended in perfect proportions. Our Vata Tea can be enjoyed at any time of day. Our Ayurvedic teas are composed according to traditional recipes. In Nepal, Ayurvedic principles continue to be practiced today, just as they have been for hundreds of years.

When we have a cup of our Vata Tea in front of us, it displays a dark yellow to copper-colored hue. Its taste is difficult to define at first sip: it tastes exotic, simply different, and above all, warming and spicy. Yet it is soothing and warming. Even cooled or cold Vata Tea can be enjoyed with pleasure.

Preparation

The water temperature for brewing Vata Tea should be between 85 and 90 °C; the ideal steeping time is 5 minutes.
