Miswak is a root of the so-called toothbrush tree (Salvadora Persica). For thousands of years, it has been used in Arab countries for natural teeth cleaning and is thus the oldest form of a toothbrush. Application
Remove approximately 1cm of bark and rinse the Miswak under running water. Then chew on the tip until you can use the Miswak like a toothbrush. Now you can begin cleaning your teeth. Please brush each tooth individually and gently, without applying much pressure, always brushing away from the gums. You can feel with the tip of your tongue whether the teeth are smooth and clean. Please spit out any wood fibers that break off.
Allow to dry after use. If the cleaning effect diminishes, the Miswak should be shortened and chewed again to reactivate it.
